This gap-year (10-month) program is for students interested in a professional intercultural experience in France or Spain.

Most applicants have been accepted into a university program and granted a deferral or are currently enrolled in a university program with department permission to spend a year off campus.

In some instances, Andégo Internships Abroad is able to sponsor you if you are not currently enrolled in a university program.

Program Highlights:

  • Assist the English department plan lessons, lead conversation groups, teach, and lead after-school study groups.

    • You may be asked to assist with other duties as assigned by the school.

  • Room and board will be provided by the host school in on-campus dorm-style housing, in a homestay nearby, or studio. All interns will have a local host family on weekends and during school breaks at a minimum.

  • Interns will receive a monthly stipend provided by the host school.

  • Travel during school holidays or pursue other activities.

    • Some schools may invite interns to participate on local school excursions or to neighboring countries.
